2inch 4inch LiTaO3 Wafer Substrate Double or Single Polished Z-cut X-cut Y-cut Saw grade
Lithium tantalate (LiTaO3) has a perovskite M6 crystal structure. It has a unique combination of optical, piezoelectric, and pyroelectric properties. The applications of lithium tantalate crystal include nonlinear optics, passive infrared (IR) sensors such as motion detectors, terahertz (THz) generation and detection, and surface acoustic wave (SAW), just to name a few.

1.Q:What is the electro optic coefficient of lithium tantalate?
A: The unclamped linear electro-optic coefficients r 13 and r 33 for lithium tantalate are known at only one wave-length, 632.8 nm, whereas the clamped coefficients are also known at 3.39 m.
2. Q:What is the pyroelectric coefficient of lithium tantalate?
A:The LT crystal has a TC of 605 °C and a pyroelectric coefficient of 190 μC/m2 K, which is twice that of the LN [4,6,7], and it is the best pyroelectric crystal with comprehensive performance.
